Airport transfer bookings: verify the meeting point, not just the price
A prebooked transfer can reduce arrival stress, but only if the pickup details match the airport, terminal and time you will actually use. The confirmation should make the first meeting easy to understand.
Check the complete journey
Confirm the airport name, flight details, destination address and passenger and luggage capacity. Cities may have several airports, and similar terminal names can create confusion. Check whether the price includes relevant tolls or waiting time.
Read the delay policy
Ask how the operator handles a late flight, immigration delays or a missed pickup. Save a contact method that will work on arrival. A vague promise to “monitor your flight” does not explain every waiting condition.
Know how to identify the driver
Use the operator’s agreed procedure and avoid giving booking or personal details to someone merely claiming to be your driver. Keep an alternative licensed transport option in mind. This small verification step is useful whether the transfer is luxurious or basic: the goal is reaching the correct vehicle with clear terms rather than improvising in a busy arrival area.
